Insurance Surveys

The insurance survey contains much of the same information as the pre-purchase survey but may vary depending on the needs of the insurance company. The survey is usually done with the vessel in the water depending on the insurance company’s requirements.

All vessels are surveyed to the Code of Federal Regulations, National Fire Protection Agency standards, and American Boat and Yacht Council standards.
